ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PAULA, BABY !!

A lot of people live under the misconcepction that burlesque life is all about

glamour and shopping all day for coture bustiers on Rodeo Drive.

The truth is that when I’m not sipping Champagne and supping on strawberries dipped in godiva, I’m hard at work preparing for my next gala event.

First, there’s the challenge of fashioning fistfulls of Cartier diamonds so that they look just like rhinestones gracing my lavish costumes. Then comes the endless search for the perfect props like the whips and canes that I not only use for my shows, bu also to keep my more unruly fans in line. (You know who you are, and you are very naughty !!)

Of course, my life wasn’t always about making men lead reckless lives of wanton abondon, sacrificing all just for the mere sensation of a red feathered fan brushing across their face. No, just like any other little girl, I too had dreams of becoming an FBI profiler, or even a cardio-thoracic surgeon at Seattle Grace. But early on, I realized that my calling was to place smiles on the faces of millions of my devoted fans instead; the kind of smiles that will take the coroner hours to pry off….

But all seriousness aside…..

Besides, breaking hearts can be a lot more rewarding than mending them, wouldn’t you agree ?

I know I’ve been labled as a vamp and a vixen and a Venus of sorts. (talk about being damned by faint praise!!) Well, rather than attempt to launch some kind of defense, let me just say that everything you’ve heard about me is true.
